Members of RCI volunteered to plant pollinators at Pacheco Valley. Supported by Marin County Parks, several master gardeners and a few families with kids, over 500 milkweed starts were added to the site. This is the 3rd plot supported by the club in this area. Reports of butterflies and colorful caterpillars have been reported last fall. Butterflies stop here on their annual migration south. Since they only eat milkweed, we're pleased to give them an attractive "rest stop" on their journey.
