Thanks to the Rotary Club of Ignacio’s most generous support, the Book Exchange of Marin recently ended an astonishingly successful 2023-2024 school year. There is so much good news!
- We provided 27 student field trips to our facility in Terra Linda, in addition to providing several in-school donation visits for our youngest students. (The photo above was taken at Laurel Dell Elementary School.)
- Over 2,000 students from Marin's most under-resourced communities benefited from these field trips and school visits.
- Each student could take home ten free books and a recyclable book bag to keep as their own, which equates to our giving away approximately 20,000 books.
Your donations provided buses to bring these students to the Book Exchange. Your funding also helped cover the cost of providing a limited selection of popular new books, which are highly desired by our students.
