Phase II of the Pacheco Valley Pollinator Garden got underway on Friday with a group from RCI putting down lots of straw to serve as the base for planting later this fall. The success of the first phase is evidenced with healthy plants and even some Monarch Butterflies being observed. Supported by Marin County Parks employees, this new phase will be equal in size to it's predecessor. Weather was perfect and the work was completed just in time for some rain to settle the base level. An excellent project supported by both RCI volunteers and funds from the club.
