Dr. Sylvia Whitlock captivated our recent club meeting with the story of how she fought all the way to the US Supreme Court to become the first female Rotarian and later the first female club president.  Since then, she's dedicated her life to service — founding an AIDS clinic in her home country of Jamaica, raising more than $90,000 for girls’ education in India, and paving the way for countless women leaders. We all felt privileged to hear from this Rotary leader and icon who certainly exemplifies Service Above Self.
