Club members Jayne Hulbert and Gene Duffy treated the club to amazing pictures and interesting details about their recent trip to Antarctica. Plenty of penguins and icebergs were shown to great effect. The rigors of maintaining a pristine environment. keeping warm and adjusting to 23 hours of sunlight were explained. As were the four different ships--Cruise Line, Zodiac, Rapid movement and submersible. (The submersibles are yellow and named for the 4 Beatles.) A most interesting presentation.
